Best Lines This Week

STORY BY: ZACHARY E. CHARLES • APR 6TH, 2014

This week our users added some great songs on WikiMizik. Here are a few lines that we found ourselves reading more than just once.

Let's start with Kite'm Ba Ou Love from Frap La, a hot track that talks about his dire need to give this girl some love. In this line he talks about his terrible financial decisions from this love, you might be able to explain it better than I can.
"Mfè vie dèt ki depase mwayenm
Pou'm ravitaye m'ipoteke tout sa'm te gen nan menm damn"

Kitem Ba Ou Love - Frap La

Young artist but you wouldn't know from reading those powerful lyrics. She talks about the inevitable end of this love. Kijan lap ye? Kisa lap fè?
"Lavi se konsa l' ye nou chak gon le poun detache, trepase
Map oblije aksepte l' pase son etap m' dwe pase"

Jou'w pa la - Chris Jay

We didn't know he left, but Wendyyy Traka has announced with his new album Majeste that the king is back. Along with this return he has pushed Rap Kreyòl 3 steps forward. That's five total steps minus two steps from other artists.
"Ane a si game nan fè sink pa mfè twa pa ladann"
The King is back - Wendyyyy

This song complements Kite Ba Ou Love of Frap La. This track talks about a gold-digger who uses her love to get what she wants. Could this be the same Ti Mamoun King Posse was talking about?
"Tu m'aimes vraiment t'es sur?
E poutan mdous wi mwen menm"

Ti Mamoun - J-Vens

This week Baky along with a gang of talented artists dropped "Survivor". We had a hard time picking one line from this track filled with metaphors.
Dèfwa nèg ki ka ede'n se yo ki bezwen BLO'N
Malgre'm ekri sou papye, kanmèm lap peze TONES

Survivor - Baky
