[Intro]
Alo Beto yo pran medaj la wi,
Kisa map fè? Bay vag bay vag...

[Chorus]
Yo di konpa sa a pap mache,
Yo di konpa nou en danje e e.

[Verse 1]
Yo di tout ti medam yo pa renmen konpa,
Yo di ke la jenès pa believe nan konpa a,
Nou menm T-Vice nou di nou pwal chanje sa!

[Chorus]

[Verse 2]
Si'w pa chante en anglè teenager
Pap dakò (Se pa vre)
Si'w pa mete disko yo di'w pa a la mode tande,
Mwen pwal leve yon defi woyo,
Depi mizik sa a frape ou paka pa danse! Elekekepepe.

Anwo ap pale, anba ap pale
Menm nan mitan pale
Nap pedale, anwo ap pale
Anba ap pale
Ti rasi ap ranse
Pedale konpa pou devan

[Guitar solo]
E pi se sa’w renmen an

Nan Miami nou pwal pedale e, moun Kanada nou pwal
Pedale, moun Ayiti nou pwal pedale,
Se yon mouvman tout moun ka fe'l
Ti moun gran moun pedale!

[Chorus]
Pedale konpa
Men bon Black Alex la

[Black Alex]
Sa fè lontan nap fè moun yo danse,
Sa fè lontan nap fè moun yo bouje,
Mizik sa a bon pase yon Burger King,
Mizik sa a bon pase yon McDonald,
Roberto kap fè moun yo danse,
Black Alex kap fè moun yo danse.
Gimme no waiii min
Black Alex gimme no waiii
Haiti do you mind
We don’t mind
Pale pale pale, pwal pale a.
Roberto mpral pale, Black Alex huh pral pale
Cite solèy pral pale, moun Boston yo pral pale
La jenès men konpa a, pedale konpa a a

[Wyclef]
I was on tour and the word on the B.K:
“T-Vice took over the parkway!”
I was with Beenie Man sipping on sum Guiness he said
“Bway those Haitians are wicked!”
Permanent permanent one, Wyclef the son of the gun
T-Vice got that Haitian rhum to make you heyyy heyyyyy....
Let’s go

    4Mula's Chapter 1

Jude and Carl Edouard (Carlitow) Deslouches have been on our radar since they dropped Se Ou Mwen Vle and the subsequent EP. Once in a while, the brothers would tease us with a new track. Late last year, they introduced 4Mula, a new band with fellow Montrealites and former Vibrasyon members, Romuald Paul and Benjamin Guirand. Their debut, "Chapter 1", is a groovy ride anchored by the Deslouches' warm vocals. It's the kind of album that will jump start any party and keep it rocking all night long. All you need is an aux cord. We...

    Songwriter's Corner: Roody Laforest

"Cheri, mwen konnen m pa ase." That's what Roody Laforest sings on his debut single, Mwen Pa Ase. It takes an honest man to admit his shortcomings. But after chatting with the Montreal-based singer, we realized though Roody tells it like it is, he can be a little too hard on himself. Wikimizik talked to him about his musical roots and writing process. We hope you enjoy his straight talk as much as we did. Who is Roody? How am I supposed to answer this question? Let's make it short...

    For Mom

That voice in your head isn't your conscience. It's your mother, whispering "Pitit mwen, sa a w'ap fè la a?" Reminding you that you're better than this. Telling you to dust yourself off and finish what you started. Urging you to be as great as she knows you were destined to be. Because that's what mothers do. She always knows best and always wants the best for you. Whether your mother is a short drive away, a phone call away, or in heaven watching down, these songs remind us that the our greatest...
