Kounya n'ap janbe yon kalfou
Jan'm wè'l la n'pap fè demi tou
S'on lwa'k sou teritwa lanmou
Moun pa fòse moun
M'pwal aji kon yon moun grandi
Menm lè nan kè'm s'on ti moun piti
Yon moun pa dwe janm kenbe sa ki pa pou ou
Sa ki pa pou ou non mwen pap pèdi tan'm

[Chorus]
Mpa'p koute febles mwen
Pou'm diw rete avè mwen
You don't want me
I already know--- (let me go)

Mwen pa vle diskite.
Mwen jis wè w'pa vle devwale'm.
Ou kapab pran'm pou egare.
Poutan m'konn plis ke sa'w panse.
Pou valè koze'n koze'n koze
Ou toujou di map ekzajere
Pou valè pale'n pale'n pale
Mwen kwè'w pap janm chanje
Ni ou pap janm di'm la verite

Si tout bagay chanje
M'pap fòse'w ni m'pap oblije'w
Men se enpòtan pou mwen fò'm mande'w
Gen kouraj pou'w di'm sa'l ye
Pou valè koze'n koze'n koze
Ou toujou di map ekzajere
Pou valè pale'n pale'n pale
Mwen prefere ret pou kò'm
Olye se ou ki akonpanye'm

"Klass it is baby"
"Cherie mpa ka fel konsa non"
"Love"
"Klass it is baby yes it is baby"
"El Bruno"

Se kòm yon maladi'l ye
Lè yon kè fi'n tonbe l'pran tan
Pou li leve l'mache men mwen pap lage mwen rete kwè
Avek ou menm se te
Yon preparasyon avan
Mwen jwenn yon moun ki kwè menm jan avek mwen
Yon amoureuse e yon passionnée
M'pa regret tout lane n'pase ansanm

[Chorus]
Se ak tout kèm m'toujou renmen'w
Men mwen pap ka fòse'w renmen'm

"Bondie bon"
"Oskino Ou we"

    For Mom

That voice in your head isn't your conscience. It's your mother, whispering "Pitit mwen, sa a w'ap fè la a?" Reminding you that you're better than this. Telling you to dust yourself off and finish what you started. Urging you to be as great as she knows you were destined to be. Because that's what mothers do. She always knows best and always wants the best for you. Whether your mother is a short drive away, a phone call away, or in heaven watching down, these songs remind us that the our greatest...

    Five Diaspora Winter Anthems

A few weeks ago, all 50 states reached freezing temperatures. The Polar vortex may be gone, but most of us still can't feel our toes. Since humans can't hibernate, staying in and hunkering down is only a temporary fix. Plus, we have to brave the cold to pay those bills. Good thing, we have music to warm our souls. Quite a few Haitian artists have migrated to the States, Canada, and Europe. They've all experienced the winter blues and expressed their lingering homesickness in song. Here are a few of our favorites. They're a potent cocktail of frustration and nostalgia. We'd cry,...

It's finally here, and it's a live EP she recorded on her birthday. On 16 Novembre, we find a more seasoned artist, with a firmer grasp on the world. Gone is the bubbly sweetness of her earlier material. The patina of life - wilted relationships, career shifts, last-minute apartment hunts - has molded her...
