L'amour me rend plus fort, l'amour me rend meilleur

Kenbe mwen fò, tanpri pa janm lage m
Pa lage m, pa lage m

Je me sens si fragile
J'avoue je ne pense qu'à toi
Tu es mon seul regret chérie
Tu me rends si sensible
J'admets je rêve de toi
Tu restes mon seul amour

Kenbe mwen fò (Cherie)
Tanpri pa janm lage m (Amour)
(De toi j'ai vraiment envie)
Pa lage m
(Et je te veux pour la vie)
Pa lage m

Kenbe mwen fò, tanpri pa janm lage m
(Sere mwen fò)
Pa lage m, pa lage m

Pa gen rezon pou n soufri
Cheri m'renmen ou pou lavi
M'ta mouri si w pa kote mwen
M'ap sipliye w rete

Really really baby, lanmou sa a pap janm fini
Cheri m bezwen w tou pre
Tanpri pa lage m

Vin kote mwen
Ret kote mwen

Tanpri cheri tounen
Vin kote mwen
Ou Konnen San ou pa gen lavi
Ret kote mwen

Vin kote mwen
Vini pou mwen montre w jan mwen pa negosye w cheri
Ret kote mwen

BIOGRAPHY
  • Georges Alan Cavé born in New York in 1966. In 1987, he met with Alex Abellard and Eddy Saint-Vil to audition, and Cavé was quickly signed for the group Zin. Alan Cavé is a prolific songwriter, with a catalogue of songs and unreleased recordings in English, French, and Haitian Creole. • 4Mula's Chapter 1

Jude and Carl Edouard (Carlitow) Deslouches have been on our radar since they dropped Se Ou Mwen Vle and the subsequent EP. Once in a while, the brothers would tease us with a new track. Late last year, they introduced 4Mula, a new band with fellow Montrealites and former Vibrasyon members, Romuald Paul and Benjamin Guirand. Their debut, "Chapter 1", is a groovy ride anchored by the Deslouches' warm vocals. It's the kind of album that will jump start any party and keep it rocking all night long. All you need is an aux cord. We...

    Kompasoul Impresses On 'No Rules'

No Rules is the debut album of Kompasoul, a new band from Montreal, Canada. The 13 tracks flow seamlessly and leave you dancing throughout the duration of the project. What's most impressive about Kompasoul is their versatility. While the band is able to churn out hard-hitting club bangers promoters will love (Pè severans, Pirana, Manje Pou 2), they also craft mellow konpa love and zouk hits DJs will spin. And the transition between the two sounds is effortless. Even...

    Songwriter's Corner: Roody Laforest

"Cheri, mwen konnen m pa ase." That's what Roody Laforest sings on his debut single, Mwen Pa Ase. It takes an honest man to admit his shortcomings. But after chatting with the Montreal-based singer, we realized though Roody tells it like it is, he can be a little too hard on himself. Wikimizik talked to him about his musical roots and writing process. We hope you enjoy his straight talk as much as we did. Who is Roody? How am I supposed to answer this question? Let's make it short...

    Five Diaspora Winter Anthems

A few weeks ago, all 50 states reached freezing temperatures. The Polar vortex may be gone, but most of us still can't feel our toes. Since humans can't hibernate, staying in and hunkering down is only a temporary fix. Plus, we have to brave the cold to pay those bills. Good thing, we have music to warm our souls. Quite a few Haitian artists have migrated to the States, Canada, and Europe. They've all experienced the winter blues and expressed their lingering homesickness in song. Here are a few of our favorites. They're a potent cocktail of frustration and nostalgia. We'd cry,...
