Men sa le monde antye tap tann nan
Wyclef qui sot nan Fugee
Jeremie! Ayiti! Potoprens! Flatbush!

Men Ayisyen, pè di li se Ayisyen
Poukisa chak swa w ap dòmi a Jezabèl?
Ou pè di fanm ayisyen yo ke yo bèl?
Fanm nou bèl
Mwen respecte nou tankou
Mwen respekte zanj Gabriyèl
Men nèg dyaspora yo vle mennen nou nan hotel

M ape pran li jete li nan prizon
M ap fè l konnen kiyès ki Tousen
M ap fè l konnen kiles ki Desalin
Aprè sa nou mèt lage l voyel back Brooklyn

Malfini bagay yo pral fini mal,
Si w desrespecte natif natal
Malfini bagay yo pral fini mal

We decided to take the easy route and avoid subjectivity by providing you with the 16 most popular songs from 2016 on Wikimizik. Check back every hour. Enjoy and on to 2017! 16....

Albums We're Waiting For

Though there's a couple of albums from last year we still can't get enough of, that doesn't mean we can't look forward to a great lineup in 2016. Here are some of the albums that we can't wait for this year. 1. Carimi Their last album, Invasion, has yet to come out the 5-disc changer in most people's cars. The live album, "Kite M Cho" made us fall in love with the tracks even more. With Michael's return to the band after a month-long vacation/mini retirement, we're sure...

4Mula's Chapter 1

Jude and Carl Edouard (Carlitow) Deslouches have been on our radar since they dropped Se Ou Mwen Vle and the subsequent EP. Once in a while, the brothers would tease us with a new track. Late last year, they introduced 4Mula, a new band with fellow Montrealites and former Vibrasyon members, Romuald Paul and Benjamin Guirand. Their debut, "Chapter 1", is a groovy ride anchored by the Deslouches' warm vocals. It's the kind of album that will jump start any party and keep it rocking all night long. All you need is an aux cord. We...
