[Chorus 1]
Si ou pa vle’m pa maltrete’m
Jodi ka pou chasè
Demen ka pou jibye
Si ou pa vle’m pa maltrete’m
Sa pou youn ki fatra
Pou lòt la’l ka trezò

[Verse 1]
Lè w'ap pale ak zanmi'w
Ou di m'ap fè ou soufri
San’w pa wè jan m’ap redi
Pou mwen pa peri
Yon moun deyò di'w je taime
M’te gentan pat bon pou ou
Sispann bay tèt ou manti
De je nan pa'm nan byen kale

[Chorus 1]
Si ou pa vle’m pa maltrete’m
Jodi ka pou chasè
Demen ka pou jibye
Si ou pa vle’m pa maltrete’m
Sa pou youn ki fatra
Pou lòt la’l ka trezò

(Se pale m'pa pale)
Ou pran moun sou mwen
(I know)
Mwen pa di anyen
(M'pa egare cheri)
Ou sou drive mwen
(Sa pap pase konsa)
Je ne me laisserai pas faire

[Bridge]
Kou'w santi tout sakrifis ki genyen
(Ou di’m sa pa vo anyen)
Ou ban’m tout non pote
(Fè’m sa m'pa merite)
Paske m'aji avè’w an bon humain
(Ou panse’m dezespere)
Gade mwen byen, m’pa manke moso
Se yon ti tan m’fè'w kado

[Chorus 2]
Lage’m lage’m pou'm ale
Lanmou paka yon fado
Yon sistèm de kraze zo
Lage’m lage’m pou'm ale
Lanmou paka yon fado ankò pou mwen
Kite’m ale

[Bridge]
Malgre m’fè tout sakrifis ki genyen
(Ou di’m sa pa vo anyen)
Ou fè’m sèvi mach pye
(Fè’m sa m'pa merite)
Paske m'aji avè’w an bon humain
(Ou panse’m dezespere)
Gade mwen byen, m’pa manke moso
Se yon ti tan m’fè'w kado

[Chorus 2]
Lage’m lage’m pou'm ale
Lanmou paka yon fado
Yon sistèm de kraze zo
Lage’m lage’m pou'm ale
Lanmou paka yon fado ankò pou mwen
Kite’m ale

Quite a few Haitian artists have migrated to the States, Canada, and Europe. They've all experienced the winter blues and expressed their lingering homesickness in song.
