Good man kou bad man tout moun mache avè n la
Good gya a bad gyal yo tout kanpe dèyè n la
Nou viv a lari a se sak fè nou jwenn respè a
Nou kwè nan linyon fè menm fon w sèl pou n travay tè a

Nou viv - pou lari a
Nou mache – a lari a
Nou panse pou n fè lari a vanse
Nou pale – pou lari a
Paske nou kwè - nan lari a
Ann fè on jan pou n fè Ayiti reviv

Nou batay pou lari a
Nou travay pou lari a
Nou met plezi nan lari a
Tout sa n fè se pou lari a
Chak jou n ap refè again and again se pou lari a

San pay san high m ap fly
Kreyol La mete m sou koulè m nòmal
Pa bezwen zèl - pou vole,
Pa bezwen van - pou vole
Ouvè men w, tire pye w

Vire vire vire kò w nan bann nan tankou on avyon
Vire nan bann nan tankou on avyon

Apach yo dekole nou pa bezwen zèl – pou w vole
Pa bezwen van – pou w vole
Ouvè men w tire pye w

Esa papa
Tout moun konnen m pa nan tripotay
Tout moun konnen m pa nan bouyi zen
Si se pou sa m tande la, pou sa m tande la
Nan kanaval Kreyol La fè moun voye

Si w gen mayo nan men w – voye l
Kaskèt nan men w – voye l
Chemizèt nan men w – voye l
Ou gen on chacha nan men w – voye l

Voye m anlè – si w anlè men anlè
An nou refèl ankò

G-dolph on the beat

Woy si pandan w nan bann nan ou ta pèdi telefòn ou
Pa fè kòlè on ti blòdè leve w
Si pandan w ta nan bann nan ou santi de dwèt nan pòch ou manman
Pa fè kòlè on ti blòdè leve w

Pito w ri – tout moun parèt sispèk
Pito w ri – ou pap janm konn kiyès
Rilax, rilax – leve de men w anlè
Calma, calma, calma – leve w de men w anlè

Leve men veye pòch – leve

Si ou ta nan bann nan ou santi yo tate w

BIOGRAPHY

    Five Diaspora Winter Anthems

A few weeks ago, all 50 states reached freezing temperatures. The Polar vortex may be gone, but most of us still can't feel our toes. Quite a few Haitian artists have migrated to the States, Canada, and Europe. They've all experienced the winter blues and expressed their lingering homesickness in song. Here are a few of our favorites. They're a potent cocktail of frustration and nostalgia. We'd cry,...

    4Mula's Chapter 1

Jude and Carl Edouard (Carlitow) Deslouches have been on our radar since they dropped Se Ou Mwen Vle and the subsequent EP. Once in a while, the brothers would tease us with a new track. Late last year, they introduced 4Mula, a new band with fellow Montrealites and former Vibrasyon members, Romuald Paul and Benjamin Guirand. Their debut, "Chapter 1", is a groovy ride anchored by the Deslouches' warm vocals. It's the kind of album that will jump start any party and keep it rocking all night long. All you need is an aux cord. We...
