[Intro]

[Verse 1]
Nou mete m sou yon pedestal, m di nou mèsi
Nou ban m chalè, nou ban m lòv, nou ban m respè, m di nou mèsi
Se vre m renmen tande Fefe k ap freestyle,
Men mwè tèks pa m yo nan je nou, m pa gen on boul Kristal
M vin retounen ban nou èd nou te ban mwen
Efè boumrang, nou voye m anlè, m redesann vin jwenn nou
Zèl nou ban mwen fè m vole pi wo pase nou
Men yo pap janm fè m bliye ke m te leve nan de pla men nou
Anpil moun ki ap fè mizik san sèvèl toujou gen tandans rele sa y ap fè a son lari
Tankou m ta di w nan lari pa gen nèg ki gen revèl
Jodi a m vin di nou sispann bay blag si n pa vle m ri
Nou te gen misyon pou edike yon jenès
Sispann aprann lari a panse an kou l cho l kwit
Pou yo sispann panse ke siksè dwe vini tout swit
Plis w ap ankouraje medyokrite w ap pi frajil
Plis w ap leve nivo lari a w ap pi ajil
Plis w ap monte, pezantè a vin pi fatigan

[Hook]
Youn nan yo (Yeah)
Ou se youn nan yo
Sa k ap sipòte m yo
Youn nan yo (Yeah)
Ou se youn nan yo
Fanatik k ap chante yo
Youn nan yo (Yeah)

[Verse 2]
Bò isi, kiyès ki gran, kiyès ki piti?
Kiyès ki Ayisyen, kiyès ki blan, kisa k Ayiti?
Kisa ki akiltirasyon, kisa ki kilti?
Men ki jenerasyon ke n ape fòme pou lefiti?
M pase kou sentiwon nan pasan yo
Mwen fè mizik pou m mete peyi m devan
Tizon Dife a pi rèd
Plis w ap eseye bare l, se plis w ap pi lèd
Mwen pote yon lòt pwezi pou yo
Pou mezire rèv yo, lòt mezi pou yo

[Pre-Hook]

    Five Diaspora Winter Anthems

A few weeks ago, all 50 states reached freezing temperatures. The Polar vortex may be gone, but most of us still can't feel our toes. Since humans can't hibernate, staying in and hunkering down is only a temporary fix. Plus, we have to brave the cold to pay those bills. Good thing, we have music to warm our souls. Quite a few Haitian artists have migrated to the States, Canada, and Europe. They've all experienced the winter blues and expressed their lingering homesickness in song. Here are a few of our favorites. They're a potent cocktail of frustration and nostalgia. We'd cry,...
